33rd Annual Kids Auction & Gala
WHAT A NIGHT! The 33rd Annual Kids Auction & Gala was a tremendous success - raising (and exceeding the goal!) more than $500,000 to support the youth we serve.
The 33rd Annual Donald K. Facciano Kids Auction and Gala – one of the Central Coast’s premiere charity events – returned on November 4th, 2023 to celebrate the incredible work of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme. It is the largest event fundraiser for BGCOP. The auction features spectacular live and silent auctions, and an elegant dinner with more than 350 business and civic leaders in attendance.

National Art Contest
To support young people’s wellbeing in our Clubs and communities, we offer a variety of high-quality arts experiences for youth all year, culminating in the National Arts Contest. The National Arts Contest enables Club youth to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through visual arts. Youth ages 6-18 are encouraged to express their creativity by exhibiting their work for judging in local and national competitions using one of the following contest themes: "Setting Expectations – Being Your Best Self", "Speaking Up – Youth Voice & Leadership", "Social Justice Through the Arts", and "Wellness Inside and Out – Personal and Community Wellbeing". Pieces include photographs, paintings, mixed media art, video submissions, and more.
All final pieces were collected and displayed in a gallery at the Martin V. Smith Youth Center through February 22, 2023.
2024 Youth of the Year
Youth of the Year is our signature effort to foster a new generation of leaders, fully prepared to live and lead in a diverse, global and integrated world economy.

With a grassroots beginning in 1947, Youth of the Year has evolved into a comprehensive leadership development program, which includes:
Youth of the Month – Leadership Recognition Program
Junior Youth of the Year – Leadership Readiness Program, and
Youth of the Year – Leadership Development Program
