Services: Academic assistance, homework help, outdoor games and fitness activities, enrichment programs, and social recreation.
5 day/week program & students must attend at least 3 hours/day.
Youth Development Professionals lead the youth in activities that support the school day and meet the child’s need to have fun! By developing positive relationships with youth, the leaders are able to create enriching programs to help each child grow.
How to join: Space is limited in our After School Programs to 80-100 students. School staff and Boys & Girls Club staff recruit the students who need us most. If you are interested in joining, contact the After School Program Coordinator at your student’s site. Acceptance into the program is based on openings.
PROSPER
(Partnership for Rio Out-of-School Student Programs for Educational Realization)
Vision: The PROSPER Project’s guiding principals are to ensure that all students are engaged in positive after school learning opportunities in a safe, nurturing environment to enable them to become responsible, productive, concerned and involved citizens who are empowered to make a difference in society.
Sites: Serving 80-120 students per site.
